It Begins – The Incredibly Ironic Request Mamdani Has of His ‘Working People’ Supporters (Video)

Folks, if Zohran Mamdani’s win as NYC mayor wasn’t already a head-scratcher, his first move after promising “free stuff” to the working class has folks rolling their eyes. He campaigned hard on free buses and frozen rents, painting himself as the savior of affordability by taxing the rich— a pitch that swept him to victory with promises of a utopian future. But here’s the kicker: the day after his win, he’s back at the podium, flashing that fake smile, asking those same “working people” to dig into their wallets to fund his transition team.

Video:

Standing behind a podium emblazoned with “A NEW ERA,” Mamdani admitted he’d told folks to stop donating months ago, but now? “It will require staff, it will require research, it will require infrastructure,” he said, practically begging for cash. The irony’s thick—after selling a vision of freebies funded by billionaires, he’s now hitting up the little guy. The uploaded image shows him mid-speech, flanked by serious-faced aides, that grin looking more forced than ever as he pitches this plea.

Let’s be real—free buses would turn into homeless shelters, and rent freezes would leave landlords unable to maintain buildings, tanking livability. Mamdani won’t deliver half his promises, yet he’s already shaking down supporters. Why not tap the NGOs or Soros family that bankrolled his run? Instead, he’s targeting the “working people” he claims to champion—proof this socialism’s just a hustle.

NYC, brace for the fallout; the rest of us? Watch this hypocrisy unfold. Voters, think twice next time.

but, can you honestly blame the voters, or those who didn’t watch the counters closely enough while they cheated?

Why can’t you provide some quotes of what he said? You just described the setting of his speech and made it SOUND like he was asking for money, but then you’re afraid to quote where he actually said that?

Thirteen percent of the Jews in NYC voted for this radial Muslim Communist, the very person that wants to see them all eliminated. What the hell were the Jews thinking? Were they even thinking?. Hope you morons in NYC like living under sharia law.
