Video: Here’s How Texans Responded After SCOTUS Ruling Allowed Federal Agents To Remove Razor Wire Placed At The Border
A narrowly divided Supreme Court on Monday sided with the Biden administration in a tense, ongoing dispute over the Texas-Mexico border and razor wire fencing installed by the state that had prohibited federal border agents from performing their duties.
The court, by a vote of 5-4, cleared the way for federal agents to remove the wire, which administration officials and immigration advocates had called dangerous and inhumane.
The Supreme Court’s order did not elaborate on the decision. It means federal border agents can resume full control of the contested border area while litigation continues.
Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh said they would have denied the administration’s request to lift a lower court injunction that was blocking removal of the wire.
Texans responded to the SCOTUS ruling!!!
The Texas Military Department (TMD) asserts it will maintain its operations in a park along the Rio Grande, despite a Supreme Court ruling allowing federal agents to cut the razor wire installed on the U.S.-Mexico border by the Lone Star State.
“The Texas Military Department continues to hold the line in Shelby Park to deter and prevent unlawful entry into the State of Texas,” the department said in a statement Tuesday.
Cameras captured Texas officials installing new razor and anti-climb fences.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott ordered TMD to assume control of Shelby Park in Eagle Pass on Jan. 10, preventing Border Patrol access to about 2 1/2 miles of the U.S.-Mexico border.
So far Right Journalism has not seen any federal agents attempt to enter the park to cut razor wire in the park.
The decision vacated a previous injunction from the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals that prevented federal agents from cutting the wire.
The Supreme Court basically orders Texas to submit to illegal invasion!
Tucker decided send advice top Texans on how to defend their country after the Supreme Court decided to leave the borders open!
The Texas Tribune reports that both Gov. Greg Abbott and Attorney General Ken Paxton will refuse to back down over the issue and will carry on fighting to secure the southern border from the waves of illegal immigration.

The Supreme Court decision may be helpful. After all the sanctuary cities will not allow the feds to enforce immigration laws. Given this decision, when a republican president takes over they can use this decision to walk over state officials and enforce federal law.
