Treasury Department: Tax-Cut Plan Will More Than Pay For Itself And Will Add $300 Billion In Revenue
You won’t see this report in the Main Stream Media… Just like you don’t hear about the job numbers or the growth in the economic rate. All you get from the mainstream media is Anti-Trump fake news.
On Monday, the Treasury Department found the Senate tax bill would pay for itself! The department released a one-page analysis of the nearly 500-page Senate tax bill, in which it was suggested that the $1.5 trillion plan would more than pay for itself, assuming the economy grows much faster than any independent analysis of the bill has projected.
The Treasury analysis assumes gross domestic product to grow at a rate of 2.9 percent over the next 10 years, rather than the 2.2 percent rate that many other groups have projected.
The report said: “Treasury expects approximately half of this 0.7 percent increase in growth to come from changes to corporate taxation. We expect the other half to come from changes to pass-through taxation and individual tax reform, as well as from a combination of regulatory reform, infrastructure development, and welfare reform as proposed in the administration’s fiscal year 2018 budget.”
Treasury Secretary Steven T. Mnuchin said: “The administration has been focused on tax reform and broader economic policies to stimulate growth, which will generate significant long-term revenue for the government.”
This is why Obama is already trying to take credit for the Trump Recovery. Obama presided over eight years of economic misery. Trump has so far presided over nonstop economic recovery and growth. The numbers don’t lie.
Still, the liberal super PAC American Bridge called Treasury’s analysis “a joke.”
“ It’s like saying, ‘I could fly if I could grow wings, ’ ” said American Bridge Vice President Shripal Shah. “The fact that the Trump administration had to doctor a study with fake calculations about major plans that don’t even exist yet is a glaring admission of guilt.”
Unfortunately, liberals don’t like facts, since facts conflict with their ideology.
