Newly-Released Emails On ‘Secret’ Loretta Lynch-Bill Clinton Meeting Shows FBI Acted In A Partisan Way

On Friday afternoon, the FBI released documents on their website that shows internal correspondence about the now infamous meeting between then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former President Bill Clinton on a tarmac during last year’s presidential campaign.

After news broke about the tarmac meeting between Lynch and Clinton, the FBI tries hard to identify the source who leaked details about the encounter and discipline him or her. It is sad not one FBI person thought this meeting should not be kept secret. More proof that the FBI was more interested in covering up Democrat crimes than doing its job fairly.

The newly-released emails spanning from July 1-3, 2016, contain correspondence among various DOJ officials and reveals that an official with the department was concerned about the fact that news of the meeting leaked to press. In one email in which the names were redacted, a person wrote that the source of the story was a local police officer and that the leak violated the “principle and basic tenet of executive protection.”

The person wrote: “I agree with your assessment about the source, which in reading the article, I believe was one of the local PD officer [sic] assisting with one of the two motorcade [sic] there on the Tarmac. Either way, they should have never offered any type of opinion or details of what did or didn’t happen, as this is the most principle and basic tenant of executive protection.”

He added: “Unfortunately, this article is a breach in security protocol and I am addressing it with the Phoenix division to make certain that they pursuit [sic] this and identify the source of the breach.”

Among the documents, there is also a transcript of Lynch’s discussion of the meeting with a reporter in which she denied that Benghazi, the site of a terrorist attack during then-Secretary of State Clinton’s time in office, was mentioned.

Lynch said: “Our conversation was a great deal about his grandchildren. It was primarily social and about our travels.”

The corruption on display here is breathtaking. The FBI cannot be trusted as an impartial justice source for anything. It is rife with those who believe that political operatives of the Democrat party must be protected while they are employed by the FBI and actively undermine the current administration. So much for the FBI reputation and its “blind justice” ideal.

But, crimes are crimes. I still have faith that the guilty will be prosecuted and the FBI/DOJ will return to normalcy.
