MELANIA’S APPROVAL RATINGS HAVE CHANGED A LOT
Our First Lady is simply beautiful…Loads of brains, style, and grace and charm. She is good-hearted, loving mom…what’s not to like about her?
It seems that the majority of the Americans is starting to see our First Lady as she is!
First lady Melania Trump’s favorable rating has skyrocketed 17 percentage points, to 54 percent, since the beginning of her husband’s administration, a new Gallup poll released Friday shows.
While the first lady’s popularity has climbed by double digits in the poll, the president’s has stayed relatively the same from his 40 percent to 55 percent favorable-unfavorable rating from January.
The first lady got a later start in Washington than her husband. While the president took office in January, the first lady didn’t move into the White House until June, after her son finished the school year.
Since settling into her role, the first lady has maintained a more public presence which affected her popularity!
Just before the Trumps became the first couple on January 20, the first lady-elect had the country split in opinion: About 37 percent viewed her favorably and 37 percent unfavorably, with 26 percent undecided.
About a year later, only 13 percent of Americans still have no opinion of our FLOTUS, and her unfavorables have dropped a bit, to 33 percent.
“Melania Trump’s favorability advantage … is consistent with Gallup’s findings that recent first ladies are, on average, more popular than their husbands,” pollsters said in a statement about their December 4-11 questioning.
A beautiful, kind, compassionate and intelligent woman gracing the White House as a First lady. What could be better to bring in a new year of “true hope and change” for our beleaguered nation?
