McCain Gives False Excuse About His Walking Boot…America Tears Him Apart Over It
On Thursday, Arizona Senator John McCain finally gave a response to the mystery that was raging on social media about why his walking boot switch on the different leg on two separate occasions.
One day earlier, McCain posted a photo on Twitter showing him and his wife just before his daughter Meghan McCain’s wedding in Sedona in which his walking boot was on his left foot.

But, in an earlier photo posted on November 14, McCain is seen wearing the boot on his right foot after he suffered a minor tear in his right Achilles tendon.
I can't tell you how much I hate wearing this boot! https://t.co/W6zClDRpFb pic.twitter.com/x3mDC4n11H

The discrepancy ignited a slew of conspiracy theories on social media. However, McCain clarified that his walking boot is on his right foot, adding that he switched it to his left to “give it a break.”
Thank you for your support & best wishes. My left leg was doing extra work to compensate for the boot, so I'm giving it a break. I still hate wearing this boot, but it won't slow us down from frying 7 turkeys today!

This just doesn’t make sense. That’s why his answer was not enough to satisfy the conspiracy theorists.
Your explanation is to cause more strain to your healing torn tendon foot? You do realize how ridiculous you sound right?

That doesn’t even make sense, but consider the source.

A whole day to come up with the worst excuse ever. It's confirmed, he is a Democrat.

Orthopedic boots are to stabilize bones…not overworked muscles. Try again..

Wearing a boot is exhausting. But how in the world does switching it help?! Put the burden on the actual injured/just healed leg because the other got tired?! Makes no sense to put it on a perfectly good foot/leg. That’s the stupidest explanation I ever heard. If he wanted to “give it a break” why didn’t he just take the boot off?
But, I guess he doesn’t realize how stupid he sounds. He’s had his way for so long that he thinks everything he says make sense.
John McCain was able to use sympathy for his incarceration during war to attain political position…so naturally he looks to get sympathy with his injury as a means to acquire self-righteous support. My sympathy does not extend to his political behavior…;for which there is no boot but being booted.
