LaVar Ball Finally Responds After Trump Helps Free His Son from China…You Will Not Like What He Had To Say
Last week, 3 UCLA freshman has been detained in China since they were arrested Nov. 7 for shoplifting from three different high-end stores, including sunglasses from Louis Vuitton. When this incident occurred, President Donald Trump happened to be on a tour of Asia and personally spoke with Chinese President Xi Jingping in an attempt to resolve the case of three UCLA basketball players being held in Hangzhou on charges of shoplifting.
So LiAngelo Ball’s father LaVar Ball has finally responded after President Donald Trump took credit Wednesday for orchestrating the release of Ball’s son, UCLA freshman, and two teammates from China.
But instead of showing gratitude, LaVar Ball responded “Who?” when ESPN asked him about Trump.
Ball said: “What, was he over there for? Don’t tell me nothing. Everybody wants to make it seem like he helped me out.”
“As long as my boy’s back here, I’m fine,” he told ESPN. “I’m happy with how things were handled. A lot of people like to say a lot of things that they thought happened over there.
“Like I told him, ‘They try to make a big deal out of nothing sometimes.’ I’m from LA. I’ve seen a lot worse things happen than a guy taking some glasses.”
On the other hand, in a Wednesday press conference LaVal’s son LiAngelo, gave Trump the thanks he deserved.
“We’re young men, but it’s not an excuse for making a really stupid decision,” LiAngelo Ball said. “I’m extremely sorry for those I let down. I’d also like to thank President Trump and the United States government for the help they provided as well.”
What an idiot LaVar is! Once again, glorified ball player opens his mouth and proves his stupidity. His son stole sunglasses in China a communist state!! He would have easily served 10 years hard Labor. Otto Warimbeer did way less and died in the process. What an ungrateful punk and I’m not talking about the Kid.
I bet if it was Obama that helped they would be singing his praises but because it is President Trump it is no big deal. It shows the character of the parent especially when the son said thank you! And let’s not forget the marine that was left to rot in the Mexican prison! Obama did nothing! He went to Mexico and met with the president and didn’t even mention releasing the marine who hit list and did nothing wrong! Ingrates!!
But at the end of the day, I would not worry about what Trump did or did not do. I would worry about the fact that as a father LaVar did not teach or impress upon his son that stealing is wrong.
Truly he is an idiot to even open his mouth.

LaVar, how did he help YOU out? He kept the kid from major prison time!!!! You are a loud mouth that reeks of racism…..!!!!!!!!!!!!
The father also said that the kids stealing the glasses didn’t harm anyone,how about the shop owner that has to pay for the glasses in the first place.That might be the reason the kids stole because of his upbringing.The father is an ass for not thanking the president for saving the kids for up to ten years in a jail where conditions are much worse than in the States.
