After Scarborough Asked Trump if He Could Read, Trump Picked up the Bible and Gave Perfect Response
MSNBC host Joe Scarborough demonstrates the same attitude that so many media pundits exhibit towards this administration, they are seriously trying their best to start an uprising from wherever they can to overthrow this duly elected president. They are trying to start a coup d’etat. That goes against everything this country stands for and would reduce the U.S. to a banana republic.
Washington Post op-ed, MSNBC host Joe Scarborough writes that he and fiancé Mika Brzezinski met with Trump after a GOP primary debate in September 2015. During this occasion, Scarborough asked President Donald Trump if he was illiterate.
However, President Trump responded by pulling out his Bible.
Scarborough writes: “Mika Brzezinski and I had a tense meeting with Trump following what I considered to be a bumbling debate performance in September 2015. I asked the candidate a blunt question: Can you read.”
Scarborough further claims there was an “awkward silence” after he said: “I’m serious, Donald. Do you read? If someone wrote you a one-page paper on a policy, could you read it?”
…The question I would ask Scarborough is does he know how, to tell the truth?
However, Trump calmly said he could read and held up a Bible gifted to him by his mother and claimed to read it “all the time.”
Scarborough continued to labor the point in the article, citing Michael Wolff’s book “Fire and Fury,” where Wolff claims Trump never reads.
“The world wonders how the United States will survive Donald Trump. And I ask, what will finally move Republicans to deliver a non-negotiable ultimatum to this unstable president?” Scarborough writes. “Will they dare place their country’s interests above their own political fears? Or will they move to end this American tragedy only when there is nothing left to lose?”
One is The President and multibillionaire, the other a lowly MSNBC commentator! Enough said!! Who’s reading now?
Whatever Trump does or does not do, his success in life speaks for his intelligence. I look at the impact the President is having on the country, and I can say without hesitation that Joe Scarborough will never achieve anything comparable.
